Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, February 5th, 2016 Rose (Rosie) Smith of Spaniard's Bay, aged 80 years. Predeceased by husband Lloyd; beloved son Gerald; and infant sister Lisa. Left to mourn this beautiful lady are three daughters: Donna (Bob) Geach, Sharlene (Larry) McCarthy and Claudine (Mark) Mazurek; one daughter-in-law Bonnie; eight grandchildren: Keri, Jeremy, Jared, Josh, Nicholas, Samantha, Zachary and Sydney; and four great-grandchildren: Cameron, Jaidyn, Addison, and Gavin. Rosie will also be greatly missed by her two sisters: Goldie Noseworthy and Ethel Trudeau; sisters-in-law: Phoebe, Nina and Jessie; brother-in-law Walt; best friend Effie Vokey; and her furry babies Pumpkin and Brandy; along with a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. Visitation on Tuesday, February 9th from 12 noon to 9 pm. Funeral service will take place at Lynch's Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 10th at 1 pm. Inurnment will follow at the Anglican Cemetary, Bishop's Cove Shore Road. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to Beagle Paws, at P.O. Box, 28164, St. John's NL.
