Kenneth Neil 'Kenny' MacIntyre

Kenny passed away peacefully at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital after a three year battle with cancer on Feb. 6, 2016.
Born in Sydney, Kenny was the son of the late Neil Ronald and Christina Evelyn.
Kenny in his younger years was a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; especially his good friend Greg Macleod 'Soupbones'.
Kenny spent a lot of his time out in the yard and up over the hill working on cars with his dog Sparkie by his side.
Kenny is survived by his six children, three with his first wife, Annabel (Taylor);
Neil (Alicia), Shaun (Rachel), Scott (Allison); three children with the late Theresa MacIsaac; Koleane, Kenna & Kayla.
Kenny is also survived by sister, Marybell, Port Hawkesbury; brothers Johnny (Joan), Calgary; Malcolm, Marion Bridge; Charlie, Edmonton; David (Liz), North Sydney; Douglas, Saskatchewan; sister-in-law, Carol, Marion Bridge. Also his wonderful 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, Kenny was predeceased by his brother, Norman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 11th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home. A celebration of Kenny's life will take place 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial donations can be made to palliative care unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
