Edward (Ed) Simon Wolfs, age 66, of Frontier, SK, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Palliser Regional Care Centre. Ed was born in Haarlem, Netherlands on January 18, 1950. He immigrated with his family to Canada in 1952, where he lived with them on the East Coast. Ed met Katherine Schmidtz in 1974 while both of them were working in Manitoba. Ed and Kathy have three children — Marian Wolfs (Kevin Nagel), Patricia Wolfs, and Michael Wolfs. Ed and Kathy separated later in life, but remained close friends. Ed enjoyed the outdoors. He was often camping, fishing, and fixing up old campers or riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed spending the evenings visiting with his good friend Allan Jacobson. A private family gathering was held on February 10, 2016 in Ed’s honour. Funeral arrangements were in care of Swift Current Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK.
