Pauline Plume

PLUME, PAULINE
The family of the late Pauline Bernice Plume (nee Colpitts), 94, of Kinnear Settlement, sadly announce her passing at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her family, on February 17, 2016. Born in Mont Eagle, she was a daughter of the late Hartley and Hazel (nee McCully) Colpitts. She was predeceased by her husband Chesley “Hap” Plume in 1973.
Pauline took care of seniors and farmed for many years. She was a member of the Kinnear Settlement United Baptist Church, and a church clerk for a number of years. Pauline also volunteered for the Saint John Ambulance. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, sewing and knitting.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Goddard (Gary) of Kinnear Settlement; her sons: Chesley Colpitts (Diane) and Lesley Colpitts (Sandra) of Ontario; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her special nephew Delbert McLean; her sisters: Alice Crandall of Mapleton and Ena Thorne (Donald) of Kinnear Settlement; her brother Floyd Colpitts of Moncton; as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Pauline was predeceased by her son Harold Plume, her sisters: Evelyn Constantine and Jessie McLean; and by her brothers Walter Colpitts, Eddie Colpitts and Evans Colpitts.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, NB, from where visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and the funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at1:00pm with Richard Mitton presiding. Interment will be held in the Kinnear Settlement Cemetery.
Donations to the Kinnear Settlement Cemetery or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
