JENSEN, JOAN
At the Grand Falls General Hospital, February 19, 2016, Miss Joan Jensen of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 73. Born at Grand Falls in 1942, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Alice (Folden) Jensen.
Joan treasured her family, her friends, her cat Tiny, country music and dancing. She was a social butterfly and truly enjoyed the company of others.
She is survived by her brother, James (and his wife Mary) of St. Almo, her sister, Barbara Mulherin (and her husband Paul) of Vernon, BC, six nieces, Jana, Julie Anne, Jaye Lee, Paula, Sarah and Jessica.
She was predeceased by her parents and her life partner of 12 years, Ron Beaulieu.
Resting at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, New Denmark with visiting hours on Thursday, February 25th from noon until 2 p.m. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25th at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Weigold officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
