BARTON, ROBERT "BOB" HAROLD
1960 – 2016
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, Bob Barton who passed away following a courageous battle with cancer at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, February 22, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Harold and Carol (Dobson) Barton. For the past 18 years Bob had been a transport driver with Loblaw’s. He was a man who loved the outdoors, whether he was hunting at the bus camp or fishing at his secret salmon pool. Yet his greatest love was for his wife and two children. Bob enjoyed tearing things apart and fixing them, always the first one there, willing to lend a helping hand and he would stay until the job was finished.
He will be dearly missed and forever loved by his wife of over 30 years, Patty (Horsman), son, Brandon, daughter, Genevieve and his canine companion Nugget, sisters; Kathy Bernier of Toronto, Bonnie Landry (Oscar) of Moncton and Gail LeBlanc (Terry- best friend) of Moncton, special nieces and nephews, Crystal, Kaitlin, Clayton, Spencer and his cherished friends; Todd and Wanda Turner, Doug, Bev and Nick Chapman, John and Linda Powers and Keith and Debbie Currie. His special work friend Bob Belliveau.
The family invites relatives and friends to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview for a time to share and celebrate Bob’s life on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 6 to 9 PM.
Donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
