1931 – 2016
Pearl T. McMurray of Riverview passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Monarch Hall. Born in Charlottetown, PE, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Peters) Gallant.
Pearl was retired from NBTel, she was an avid bridge player, enjoyed tap dancing and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish serving on the IHM Ladies Society and as a Eucharist minister.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Patrick; sons, Grant (Susan) of London ON, Drew (Louise) of Riverview and Colin (Robert Tai) of Toronto; grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, Aaron, Stefan and Kyle; sisters; Claire Gormley of Saint John, Dorothy Connor (Frank) of Riverview, Marjorie Wilson of Saint John, Jacqueline Bordage (Norman) of London, ON.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Madeline MacNamara.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm wish parish prayers and sharing of memories taking place at 8:30 pm. A mass will take place from Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Friday, February 26, at 11:00am with Father Charles Broderick officiating.
Donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
