GAUDET, ALBERTINE
Albertine Gaudet, 92, of the Villa Providence formerly of Robichaud, passed away on February 22, 2016. Born on April 6, 1923 in Robichaud, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Madeleine (Landry) Leger.
She was a member of the Charismatique in Barachois and a member of the Golden Age club of Barachois.
She will be sadly missed by her four children: Joanne LeBlanc (Réjean) of Trois-Ruisseaux, Omer (Rose-Marie LeBlanc) of Pointe-du-Chêne, Daniel (Darlene) of Cormier-Village and Francis (Brigitte) of Grand-Barachois; two sisters: Yvonne Maillet (late Normand) and Rita Blanchard (late Francis) both of ON; one brother, Yvon (late Thérèse) of Grand-Barachois; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hervé Gaudet (1977); one daughter, Jeannette Reade (1992); one son, Charles (2012); three sisters: Ida, Léontine and Alice; two brothers: Alphé and Gérard.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, February 25th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, Friday 9:30am until time of departure (10:10am). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois on Friday, February 26 at 10:30am.
In memory of Albertine, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to the St-Henri Roman Catholic Cemetery, Grand-Barachois would be appreciated.
