WALLACE, NORMAN SR.
Surrounded by his family, Norman John Wallace Sr., husband of Helen (Ferris) Wallace passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB on September 30, 1948, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (LeBlanc) Wallace.
Norm was predeceased by his parents, brothers Gerald, Charles, William, Joseph and Leonard; sister Emma Williams and father-in-law Douglas Ferris.
Norm had worked for Atlantic Towing and Ready Rentals. He was an avid Dart Player, Horseshoe Player, winning many competitions. He will always be remembered for his kindness and could always be seen driving around the west side of Saint John. Norm enjoyed listening to his records and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his devoted and loving wife of 46 years, Helen, he is survived by his children Norman Wallace (Tanya), Shelley Nordstrom (Scott), Mark Wallace (Michelle) and Chris Wallace (Chrissy); cherished grandchildren Nathan and Matthew, Faith and Riley Nordstrom, Alexander, Abigail and Tyler, Cooper and Carter; brothers Leo Wallace (late Patsy), Art Wallace (Marie Marsh) and Donnie Wallace (Shirley); sisters Gladys Williams (late Fred), Helen Allen (late Stewart), Alice Wallace and Shirley Ann Daigle (Paul); mother-in-law Betty Ferris; several cousins, many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11 a.m.
