Roy Lewis Lake, Saint John, passed away on February 24, 2016 at home. Born on September 22, 1939, in Cambridge, Nova Scotia he was the son of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Faulkner) Lake.
Roy was born in Cambridge, Hants County, Nova Scotia and lived the better part of his life in Saint John, NB. He lived in the north end and loved the people in his community. Roy was known all over the north end. His favorite places to go were Deluxe French Fries, (north end) and Dairy Queen (north end).
Roy was loved and respected by all who knew him. He worked hard all of his life and loved and lived for his family.
He is survived by his brothers, Roland (Betty), Donald (Patty), Percy (Cindy); sisters Annie Conrod, Hilda (Lloyd) Conrod, Joyce (Bill) McLaughlin; only living uncle, Walter Lake (Eva); many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Robert and twin, Ronald and sister, Frances.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be celebrated from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM.  For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Roy may be made to a Living Memorial Fund.
