MULLIN, HUBERT
Hubert C Mullin passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday February 26, 2016. Hubert was born in Newcastle, New Brunswick on June 13, 1943 and was the husband of Huguette (Lapointe) Mullin.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three sons, Pierre (Donna), Guy and Robert (Laura Lee), and his four adored granddaughters, Danielle, Celine, Claire and Maya. He is also survived by his brother, Harry (Claudette), many nieces and nephews in New Brunswick and Quebec, as well as family in Miramichi.
Hubert was predeceased by his parents, Hubert W. and Edith (Bryenton) Mullin, his brother, J. Murdock and his sister, Jean (MacAllister).
Hubert grew up in Cassilis, New Brunswick and moved to Fredericton with his new bride in 1965. He was employed as an engineering technician with ADI, Sub Surface Surveys and Trainor Surveys. He also had a successful career in real estate, and was owner and proprietor of The Battery Doctors. In later years, Hubert enjoyed researching his family genealogy.
We will all remember Hubert for his sense of humour, his generosity, his honesty, perseverance, and his love of family.
In keeping with Hubert's wishes, there was no visitation. A memorial mass was celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church, Regent Street, on Tuesday, March 1st at 12:00 pm noon with Fr. Bill Brennan as celebrant.
