PETROVICS, VERA
The family of Vera Isabel Petrovics (nee Colwell), wife of the late Steve Petrovics, announce her passing, which occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Born in Minto on November 24, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Redverse Colwell and Evelyn (Walsh) Brogan.
Vera is survived by her daughters Lidia of Minto, Juliana (Lyndon) of Noonan, and son Steven of Lincoln; as well as three granddaughters Ami (Jacob) of Grand Manan, Lindsay (Tristan) of Noonan and Melanie (Mathieu) of Moncton. In addition, Vera is also survived by two brothers Ernest (Jean) Colwell and Douglas (Ruth) Colwell; and sister Joyce Colwell; several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by sisters Lois Caissie, Theresa Caissie, Alice Colwell and brother Ivan Colwell.
Vera was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Hogg’s Funeral Services in Minto. Visitation will take place on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from Minto Community Chapel. Interment will be held in Scotchtown Cemetery at a later date.
