It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Florence Eva Clark on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Eva was born in Corning, SK in January 1921. She was predeceased by her loving husband John in 2011; parents Harry and Elma Moore; brother Bill; sisters Marion and Lou; sisters-in-law Jean, Donalda and Eilene; and brother-in-law Jim. Eva is survived by her children, Calvin (Dianne Moebis) Clark of Iqaluit, NU and Bryan (Brenda) Clark of Regina, SK; grandchildren, Craig (Kerri) of Calgary, AB, Jodi (Dennis) of Medicine Hat, AB, Sean (Sabrina) of Iqaluit, NU, Stephanie (Todd) of Iqaluit, NU, Erica (Jon) of Regina, SK, Gina (Andrew) of Ottawa, ON and Graeme (Brandy) of Regina, SK. Also keeping Eva’s memory close are her 12 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Joyce (Lorne) Pearson of Broadview, SK; and brother-in-law Norman (Dorcas) Clark of Kipling, SK; as well as many nieces and nephews. Eva grew up in the farming community of Corning, and after graduating from high school she moved to Regina and pursued a career in Social Work. In 1946, Eva married her best friend and love of her life John. They located in Broadacres, SK until 1957, when they moved to Swift Current. This community became their long term home where they raised their two boys and became active members of Eastern Star and First United Church. Her children and grandchildren will all remember her knitting and cooking skills. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed many hours in her garden at the acreage in Swift Current. Pilot Butte became her home in 2008. Thank you very much to the staff at Country Lane Care Home in Pilot Butte for their compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eva may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8. A CELEBRATION OF EVE’S LIFE will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home.
