HATT, VERNA MILDRED (BONNIE)
(1920- 2016)
Mrs. Bonnie Hatt of North Head Grand Manan Island passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital on Wednesday March 2, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born in West Green Harbour, NS the daughter of the late John and Violet (Scott) Stuart. Bonnie was a Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Grand Manan Hospital then later The Grand Manan Nursing Home. She was a very active and faithful member of the North Head Baptist Church. Helping with the Sunday School and the ladies Missionary Society. Bonnie is survived by two daughters; Donna Brown (Terry) of Deep Cove, and Elaine Brown (Kenny) of Woodwards Cove. One adopted son Paul Cosulich of BC. One sister Alina Walker of Jordan Fall, NS, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Donald Hatt in 2002, one sister Beatrice Taylor. Four brothers; Lionel, Pryor, Charles and Elmer Stuart.
Visiting will take place at The North Head Baptist Church from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday March 4th. The Funeral Service will be from the church on Saturday March 5, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Rev. David Phillips officiating. There will be a grave side service later in the spring at The North Head Community Cemetery.
