Clarence Roy MacGillivary, 91, died Feb. 28, 2016, surrounded by family.
He was predeceased by his father, Stanford; his mother, Mary; brothers, Stan and Donnie; sisters, Jean and Marie in infancy, as well as a grandchild, Matthew.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie; his sons, Roger (Alice), John (Linda); daughters, Marlene (Brad), Valerie (Barry), Charlene (Ron); sister, Ann, and brother, Bobby. He will be missed by his 12 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Clarence was an electrician and a teacher of that trade. But what he was best known for was that he was a minister of his God Jehovah. He loved telling people about his hope for the future.
Whether he was speaking to people in the community about that hope or teaching his students, one thing is for certain. He loved people, in every way. He will be profoundly missed.
There will be a memorial service Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 786 Alexandra St., Prime Brook.
