Passed peacefully away on March 2, 2016 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, NL, at the age of 75 years, in the presence of her family after a long, brave battle with cancer. Welcoming her home with open arms are her husband Claude; parents Norman and Annie; brothers Edison and Tune and dearest friend Gladys. Left with precious memories and love, are her children: Sharon (Ken), Diane (Ben), Glen (Dawn) and Renee (Darren); grandchildren: Steven, Jenelle, Amber, Alison, Brandon, Kaleigh and Brooklyn; brother Gilmore (Eileen); special friend Ken Vivian; special son-in-law Ron Gosine; and many other close family members and friends. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the James Paton Memorial Hospital for their care, kindness and support. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home in St. John's on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 11 am - 9 pm. Funeral service will take place at 11 am on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from the Carnell's Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery on Kenmount Road, St. John's.
