Floyd Guy Corey (Trapper) passed away at the palliative care unit in Richmond, BC December 22, 2015 at age 72.
Born in Canaan, NB he was the son of the late Theodore & Geraldine (Black) Corey.
Survived by brothers & sisters Theodore Corey, Chatham ON; Lola Corey (Walter), Havelock NB; Dolly Ryder (Leighton) Calgary AB; George Corey, Steeves Settlement NB; Sandra Killam (George), Killams Mills NB; Douglas Corey (Charlene), Havelock NB as well as cousins, nephews, & nieces.
Predeceased by sister Opal Page (Sam); sister-in-laws Doreen & Jocelyn; infant sister Marie; nephew Rollie; paternal & maternal grandparents.
Floyd was retired after a long career at DuPont. He was a hunting guide, and lapidary; loved working with silver & leather; enjoyed rock collecting, panning for gold, hunting & fishing with his west coast friends, and was a member of a Motor Sports Club.
Cremation has taken place at Pacific Crematorium, Aldergrove BC. Thank you to the Salisbury Funeral Home for their care and concern, and the devoted work of David Kierstead.
