HATAKEYAMA (KELEHER), TOMO
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tomo Hatakeyama, loving and devoted wife of Alex Keleher, which occurred on Tuedsay, March 1, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Tokyo, Japan, she was the daughter of Fumie (Araki) and the late Tadashi Hatakeyama.
Her various places of employment included Imperial Theater, Ruth Ross Residence, and Radian6. Tomo was an avid gardener who enjoyed cooking, travelling, and was a big supporter of Alex’s musical endeavors. She was delighted to be in the company of her nieces and nephews, as well as her special young friend Clarisse.
Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her brother Mitsuru (Yasuka); nieces Momo and Saya; parents-in-law Bunny and Joe Keleher; brother in law Andrew (Larissa), Ainsley and Luke of Victoria; sister in law Sue McGrattan (David), Daisy, Jagger, and Rocco.
Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB, (634-1965) with visiting on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 12:10 pm. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
