Bathurst – Mrs. Demerise Pitre formerly of Church St., Bathurst, passed away at the age of 68, on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Phillias and Mary (Declementi) Pitre.
She is survived by four brothers: Jack Pitre (Margaret), Gerald (Barbara) and Jean Claude (Edith) all of Bathurst and Kenneth (Nancy) of Big River; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016, from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
