RAYNER, AUDREY MAE
Audrey M. Rayner of Nackawic, NB passed away March 3, 2016 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Audrey was born in Limehouse, Ontario in 1928, a daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (Harding) Beerman.
She was a member of the Lr. Southampton Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Audrey enjoyed fishing for trout and especially loved her flowers and plants and most of all loved her dog Buddy. She loved to play cards, especially cribbage and sometimes you would catch her cheating, but she would only just laugh. Audrey will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Marlene Wood (Clifford) of Dumfries, NB; two grandsons, Raymond Wood (Roma), Woodstock, NB and Boyd Wood (Sharon), Fort Saskatchewan, SK; great-grandchildren, Christina Polao (David), Tiffany Wood (Zack), Ben Wood and Jenna Wood; a great-great-granddaughter, Adriana; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Rayner, a sister, Grace Wood and two brothers, Ken and Earl Beerman.
In keeping with Audrey’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service for family will be held later at Lenentine Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Audrey, the family has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
