MacCOLLUM, KEITH
With sadness the family announces the passing of Keith Norman MacCollum, which occurred on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1936 in Chipman, NB, he was the son of the late Ottis and Doris (Fowler) MacCollum.
Keith was employed with NBTel for 35 years, retiring in 1991. He along with his wife Meredith made many memories at their cottage in Bayswater, NB. Keith enjoyed genealogy and meeting his friends at the food court in the mall.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Meredith (Knight) MacCollum; aunt Freda Shirley of Chipman; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant brother James Leslie MacCollum, sister Ruth MacCollum and four brothers-in-law.
Following cremation, visitation will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
