John Walter Lloyd
December 14, 1924 - February 15, 2016
John Lloyd of Kemptville, Ontario, passed away on February 15, 2016. He was 91.
He is survived by his wife Lucy (Dawson), daughter Lucille (Charlie) Shaver and grandchildren, Todd (Kim Vanier) Shaver and Lisa (Tim) Szabo.
Johnny was born in Westville, Nova Scotia, son of Annie (MacLean) and John T. Lloyd.
He is survived by his sisters Elizabeth Garvin and Mary Langille, brother Tom (Sherry) Lloyd and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Harold and Clarence.
Johnny was a WWII RCAF Overseas Veteran, completing a Tour of Duty with RAF 78 Squadron Bomber Command as Air Gunner Halifax III. He graduated from U.N.B. with a BSc. in Forestry Engineering and was employed by Ontario Lands & Forests. He retired in 1985.
