DAIGLE, GERALD
1933 - 2016
Gerald Daigle, 82, of Cocagne, passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges-L-Dumont UHC, on Friday March 4th, 2016. He was married to the late Irène (Richard) Daigle (2007). Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Simon and the late Thérèse (Paulin) Daigle.
Gerald was a farmer and a school bus driver.
He will be sadly missed by his children; Lise Black (Maurice) of Rogersville, Simon (Micheline Vautour) of Cocagne, Charles (Joyce) of Aulac, his grandchildren; Monette, Caleb and Joline. He also leaves to mourn four sisters; Simone George (late Robert) of Cocagne, Marie-Marthe Oliver of Bathurst, Pauline Soucy (Edgar) of Bouctouche, Annette Richard (late Désiré) of Notre-Dame and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Angèle, one sister, Jeanne and one brother, Fidèle.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in Cocagne, on Tuesday March 8, 2016 form 2 to 4pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Pierre Church on Tuesday March 8, 2016 at 4:00pm.
In Gerald’s memory a donation can be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology unit).
