WELDON, DEAN
1928 - 2016
Dean Weldon, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the age of 87. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Lewis and Christine (Higgs) Weldon.
Dean is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Allain; son, Wayne (Murielle) Weldon; grandchildren, Shelley and Wayne; great grandchildren, Tanya and Eric and special friend, Stella Allain.
In addition to his parents, Dean was predeceased by his wife Jean (Warren) Weldon.
Dean was a Veteran of the Korean War, worked as a Blacksmith for the CNR for 33 years, also 20 years of service with the Moncton Commissionaires.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at The Veterans’ Health Centre.
By request of the family, there will be no public visitation or service.
Interment will be in Fair Haven Cemetery.
