It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rosemary Elaine Crewe announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 92 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her 5 children: Allan (Doreen), Gary, Donna, Emeline (Jeff) Follett and Sharon (Eric) Karn; 9 precious grandchildren: Danny (Janet) Coulter, Shawn (Cindy) Coulter, Jason (Gisele) Follett, Matthew Follett, Adam and Andrew Harnum, Rosemary, Erica and Christina Karn; 6 precious great-grandchildren: Dannielle and Tyler Coulter, Charlie and Chloe Coulter; Jackson and Eva Follett; sisters: Eileen Cottingham, Bernice Kessling and Jean (Jim) Hancock; brothers: Jim and Lloyd Whiteway; sister-in-law Nina Mouland; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Boyd Crewe, parents Gertrude and William Whiteway, brother Jack and sister Ellie (Marty) Cashin. Special thank you to Dr. Robert Young, Western Memorial Staff, Caregiver Rhoda Russell and friend Shirley Fiander. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with Majors Raymond and Laura Janes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel.
