Elizabeth "Betty" Hickey (Jennings) passed peacefully away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband Patrick; one infant daughter and three sons, Joe, Tom and Pat. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters Annie Murphy, Josephine Moores (Lloyd) and Theresa Hickey; daughter-in-law Geraldine; brother-in-law James Hickey (Loretta); 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Michael and Elizabeth Kennedy; the Torbay Community Health Nurses as well as the staff at the L. A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit for their excellent care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul's Funeral Home TORBAY on Monday from 10 am - 9 pm and Tuesday from 11 am - 1 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2 pm from Holy Trinity Church in Torbay. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Parish of Torbay.
