WALLACE, Malcolm Joseph – Age 56, of Upper Wedgeport, passed away on February 20th, 2016 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Wedgeport on July 3rd, 1959, he is a son of Genesta (LeBlanc) and the late George Wallace. Malcolm was a Lobster and Herring Fisherman. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, brother and grandfather. He loved being on the water and he loved NASCAR. He is survived by his loving wife, Marion (Dugas); son, Shaynon (Tina) Wallace, Yarmouth; stepchildren, Tina (Pam) Watt, Halifax; Ronald DeViller, Wedgeport; Angela (Dirl) Smith, Yarmouth; Kim DeViller, Barrington; sister, Sharon (Curtis) Doucet, Wedgeport; 7 step grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Gary Wallace and a sister in infancy. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport where visitation was from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23rd in the Wedgeport Funeral Home. A funeral mass was held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Father Albenie d’Entremont officiated. A burial was held in the parish cemetery after the mass.
