Passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Palliative Care Unit in Oshawa, Ontario at the age of 54 years. Predeceased by her brother Jerome. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Andy; parents: Edward and Mary Lawlor; sisters: Elizabeth, Charlotte (Randy), June (Wade), Violet (son Zachary), Hilda (son Jordon), Lilly (son Kenneth) and brothers: Edward, and Lloyd (Leona). Also, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thank you to her sister Violet, who was by Laura's side throughout her full battle, the staff and medical professionals from the Princess Margaret Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit of Lakeridge Health for their endless compassion and care. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mt. Pearl on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1 p.m. from Barrett's Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to follow.
