Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2016 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn his children: Marlene, Aundrea, Amanda, Priscilla, Conway and their families; sisters and brothers: Noreen Hackett and family of Benoit's Cove with whom he resided, Bernice Dormondy (Ontario), Reg (Lohnes Complex), Leonce (Alberta), Hughie, Eileen Koper, Leon, Rowena Talbot all of Ontario and Eric of Alberta, his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents: Frank and Bridget Hall, brothers: Gordon and Roland; brothers-in-law: Pat Hackett, Jim and Ralph Dormondy. Visitation will take place on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Chapel with Sister Chabassol officiating. At Frederick's request cremation will take place, with interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Our Lady Star of the Sea Church Fund in Benoit's Cove.
