WILSON, Douglas G.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Douglas Graham Wilson on March 11, 2016 at home.  Born April 4, 1929 in River John, he was the son of the late Russell and Ann (Hamilton) Wilson. 
He worked as an Operator for CN Rail for 35 years. 
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Judy Hislop, Pictou; grandchildren, Jan, Caribou and Kelly (John), Ottawa; sister, Edna, Ontario. 
Doug was predeceased by sisters, Mildred and Bernice. 
Cremation has taken place under the direction of McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. 
There will be no visitation or funeral service. 
Interment of ashes in Haliburton Cemetery will be accompanied by a private family graveside service at a later date.  Donations in his memory may be made to the S.P.C.A.
