CHIASSON, MR. GÉRARD
(1922-2016)
Pleasant-Ridge - At the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Monday March 15th, 2016, at the age of 93, passed away Gérard Chiasson husband of late Simonne Gallant (2015). Born June 3th, 1922, he was the son of late Patrice Chiasson and late Georgina Doucet.
He is survived by three daughters: Lucie Chiasson (Normand Gould) of Pleasant Ridge, Joanne Heller of Montréal and Jeanne Chiasson (Randall Kunderman) of Moncton; six sons: Edmond (Fernande) of Gatineau, QC, André (Linda Gagnon) of Chicoutimi, QC, Raymond (Loretta Pisani) of Bathurst, Jean-Eudes (Holly Frazer) of Pleasant Ridge, Louis (Linda Turner) of Collette and Guy (Mireille Losier) of Gatineau, QC; sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister Antoinette (late Maurice Doucette) of Moncton; one brother Léonard (Lina) of Rogersville; one sister-in-law May (late Médéric) of Bathurst as well as many nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his wife Simonne; three sisters: Patricia, Sophie and Vitaline; four brothers: Camille, Alexandre, Médéric and Placide.
The funeral service will be held at the Saint-François de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville, on Saturday, March 19th, at 10am. Visiting hours: Friday, March 18th, from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm and on March 19th, from 9am until departure for the funeral.
Donations to the Palliative Room at the Foyer Assomption in Rogersville would be appreciated.
