The death of Arthur Hewitt of Lower Montague, age 70, husband of 44 years to Patricia (Graham) Hewitt, occurred on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
Born in Montague on December 13, 1945 he was the son of the late Horace and Winnifred (MacKenzie) Hewitt.
Arthur is survived by children, Robin (Jonathan) and Michelle; sisters, Devona "Bunnie" MacLeod, Mary (Rollie) Musick, Margie (Bruce) MacKenzie; aunt, Louise Johnston; sister-in-law, Sandra; cousins, nieces and nephews, along with a large circle of friends. Predeceased by his brother, Robert, and brother-in-law, Laurie MacLeod.
A memorial gathering celebrating Arthur's life will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home.
In memory of Arthur, donations to the Humane Society of PEI would be appreciated.
Arthur will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who came to know him over the years.
