McCALLUM, CARL
Mr. Carl Robert McCallum of Tabusintac NB, loving husband of wife Hazel (Fraser) McCallum of 66 years, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the age of 91. Born in Tabusintac, NB on November 18, 1924 he was the son of the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Cassidy) McCallum.
He worked in the forestry industry and retired as a forest ranger to his love of farming.
Besides his wife Hazel, he is survived by one daughter, Brenda Rozendal (Stanley) of Victoria BC, four sons Robert (Heather) of Riverview, Russell (Judy) of Fredericton, Burton (Mary Ellen) of New Maryland and Fraser (Helen) of Tabusintac and also 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who were the joy of his life.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers Guy, Vincent, and Burton and two sisters Marion and Edith.
Mr. Carl Robert McCallum is resting at St. Andrew’s United Church Tabusintac with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 2pm at St. Andrew’s United Church with Reverend Gerald Blacquiere officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery later in the spring.
In his memory, donations may be made to St. Andrew’s United Church Memorial Fund or Tabusintac Nursing Home.
