1931 - 2016
Dorine Hynes, 85, of Moncton passed away on Sunday March 20, 2016 following a brief illness. Born January 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Éléonore (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Dorine and her husband were the past owners-proprietors of Hynes’ Restaurant in Moncton for over 50 years.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Hynes; her son, Jamie and his wife Josette née Bourgeois of Moncton; her two grandchildren: Catherine and Patrick; two sisters: Jeannette Gallagher and Lorette Burren (Fred) both of Toronto; two brothers, Paul (Laura) of Dieppe, and Ernest “Babe” (Yvonne) of Moncton; a sister-in-law, Rita Hynes of Moncton; many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by four brothers: Raymond, Gérard, Oscar, and Clarence; a sister, Thérèse Allain.
No visitation by request. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, 43 Botsford Street, Moncton, on Wednesday, March 23 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
