It is with great sadness that the family of Beulah Schroeder announce her passing on Monday, March 21st, 2016 at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Frederick Schroeder; and brothers, Edward and Michael. Beulah was born to Mike and Evelyn Stark on May 7th, 1933 in Bethune, SK. She was proud to say that she had lived in Chamberlain all of her life. After school and holidays you would find Beulah working in her Dad’s store. Beulah and Fred were married in Regina in 1951. She was active in the community organizing a Brownie Pack, arranging swim lessons at Lovering Lake, and was a member of the 1980 Chamberlain Homecoming committee. She loved the sport of curling and recently enjoyed watching the curling championships on television. Beulah took pride in her yard and enjoyed planting flowers each year, always stopping work to visit anyone passing by. She took it upon herself to make sure that all the stray cats in town were fed daily. She was friend to all. A private family interment will be held at Chamberlain Cemetery. A Time of Fellowship will be held on Saturday, March 26th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Beulah’s name may be made to the Chamberlain Cemetery Fund, Box 2, Chamberlain, SK S0G 0R0.
