Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Woodlands of Sunset in her 74th year. Originally from St. John's Newfoundland, Phyllis's love and passion for her native province were carried across Canada during her 49 years of marriage to her beloved husband Lawrie. Dear mother to Scott (Lindsay), Kim (Jim) and Chris (Anne). Cherished grandmother to Devon, Abby, David, Cate, Mark and Van. Dear sister to Gloria and Arthur. Visitation will take place at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Monday March 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The memorial service to honour Phyllis's life will take place on Tuesday March 29th at 1 pm at Central United Church, 12 Young Street, Welland. A private interment will take place on a later date.
