Deltra Randlett at Serenacare, Moncton, New Brunswick on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the age of 94 years. Graduate of Cornwall General Registered Nursing Class of 1944. Practiced at Montreal Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Head Nurse of the Surgical Ward and an Obstetrics Case Room Nurse. Past President of the Cornwall General Hospital Auxiliary. Avid businesswoman. Active member of St. John's Presbyterian Church, Cornwall, Ontario. Family, friends and bridge were the oxygen of Deltra's later years.
Beloved wife of Dr. Ralph Randlett for 62 years, married June 11, 1949. Proud and loving mother of Lynda Bond of Portland, Maine and Christine Flanagan (Sean) of Moncton, New Brunswick and the late Douglas Randlett (Mary Jane) of Cornwall, Ontario. Revered, respected and loved grandmother of Owen and Paul Randlett; Emma, Ben and Niles Bond, and Erin and Brendan Flanagan. Thrilled great-grandmother of Iban Randlett. Loving daughter of the late George and Florence Alguire (Berwick, Ontario). Dear sister of the late Grenville Alguire (Toronto, Ontario) and the late Elgin Alguire (Cornwall, Ontario).
The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Serenacare, under the leadership of Sue Dixon, for providing Deltra the highest standard of care and love during her time in New Brunswick.
Funeral service will be held in St. John’s Presbyterian Church at a later date, with dates and times to be announced.
