ISBILL, EDWIN "TED"
It is with sadness that the family of Edwin "Ted" William Isbill husband of Leota (Totton) Isbill of Kiersteadville, NB, announce his death which occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB, on April 2, 2016. He was born on March 25, 1924, in Foulsham, Norfolk, England, the son of the late Arthur and Gladys (Walker) Isbill.
He came to Canada in 1929 with his parents and siblings on the ship “Empress of Scotland”, and they resided on their farm in Midland, NB
Ted is survived by his loving wife Leota; his children Basil and Jeannie Isbill of Springfield, Pearl and Bob McLaughlan of Belleisle Creek, Shirley and Gary Belyea of Shepody, and Carol Reicker of Kiersteadville; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brother Herb and Myra Isbill of Hampton; sister Phyllis Healey; sister-in-law Evelyn Isbill; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Ernest and sister Gladys.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB At Ted’s request there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place in Midland Cemetery at a later date.
Donations in memory of Ted may be made to the Kiwanis Nursing Home or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
