Stewart Gordon Gerrior, age 79 of Sydney, N.S. passed away April 1, 2016 peacefully at his home, with his son by his side.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Jerome and Ethel (Steward) Gerrior.
Stewart was a loving, kind and generous man whose family adored him. We are heartbroken.
He is survived by his son, Jerome, of Sydney; daughter, Darlene (Bill McGirr), and the light of his life his grandson Quinn Procyshyn, of Winnipeg, Man., and their mother Sally Carson; sisters, Ethel (Walter) Crawley of Sydney, Theresa Bell of Halifax and sister-in-law Rose Little.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Alice and Doris, brothers Lavin, Allen, Leo, Greg, Alphonse, Vincent and David.
Cremation has taken place. A private family ceremony is planned for a later date.
Rest in Peace our wonderful Dad and Gramps. We will love you forever.
