ADAMS, “CHUCK” CELESTIN JOSEPH
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of “Chuck” Celestin Joseph Adams which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, April 4th, 2016, with his family at his side. Born 1939, in Bathurst, NB, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Clarisse (Doucette) Adams.
Chuck was an Iron Worker with Local 842 for over 40 years. He was “Papa” to everyone and loved by all.
Chuck is survived by his loving and devoted wife Violet (Graham) of 53 years; sons Steven Adams (Doris) of Titusville, Ronald Adams of Saint John; daughter Tanya McAuley (Richard) of Saint John; brother Roger Adams of Saint John; sisters Bertha Miller (Clifford) of Bathurst, Vangeline Clich (John) of Quebec, Lorraine Campbell (Frank) of Grandbay; grandchildren Anna (Jason), Tony (Sara), Alicia, Ashley, Mike (Chelsea), Marcus, Alexis (Raymond), Olivia, Oliver; great-grandchildren Isabelle, Blake, Rayden, Austin, Karter, Karson, Jackson, Sophie, Chloe; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, Chuck was predeceased by his brothers Alexander and Felix, sisters Viola and Marjorie, grandson Charlie and great-grandson Kaleb.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A Memorial Service will be held at Hammond River Holy Trinity Church on Friday, April 8th at 2 p.m. The family will be receiving family and friends 1 hour prior to the service.
