The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Saturday, April 2, 2016 of Gerard 'Gerry' Prendergast of South Shore Villa, Crapaud, P.E.I. and formerly of Summerside, aged 87 years.
Gerry was born in Glace Bay, N.S. to his late parents Thomas and Florence (nee Steele) Prendergast.
Beloved husband of the late Lydia (nee MacDonald) Prendergast and loving father of John (Shelley) Prendergast and Tracy (Paul Merriam) Prendergast. Also lovingly remembered by his two grandchildren, Duncan and Shea.
Besides his parents, Gerry was predeceased by his brothers and sisters.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held.
