SEBASTIAN, HELEN
The passing of Helen Sebastian of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Leslie Sebastian occurred on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 14, 1928 in Soporn, Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Alec and Ilona Bartha.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Agatha Sebastian (Mitch LeBlanc) of Cameron, ON and their children, Joseph (Thayer), Laura, Luke (Vanessa) and Nicholas (April); Suzi Silhanek (Ernie) of Bobcaygeon, ON and their children, Megan, Devon (Cassie) and Tyler; son, Leslie “Les” Sebastian (Pamela) of Dartmouth, NS and their children, Angela VanLiempt (Roman) and Kelly Sebastian (Matt); great grandchildren, Roman Jr., Lauren, Cayden, Teagan and her mother, Marlaina and Jayden; several nieces.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 12 to 2 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation.
