The death occurred peacefully at the John M Gillis Memorial Lodge on April 5, 2016 of Lucinda (Lucy) Margaret (Strickland) MacNeill of Beach Point. Age 91.
Beloved mother of Bruce (Brenda), Charlie (Dawna), David (Paulette) and Everett (Dorothy).
Remembered by nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Survived by brother Brent (Bertha), Ontario; sisters Mona Bowlan and Gloria Pottie, Nova Scotia; sisters-in-law Ruby MacNeill, Roma MacNeill and Susan Strickland.
Predeceased by husband George.
Oldest daughter of the late Victor and Hattie (Jackson) Strickland.
Predeceased by brothers Clarence, Floyd and Ambrose.
Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home for visitation on Friday, April 8 from 6-9 p.m.
Funeral service from the Church of Christ, Murray Harbour on Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m.
Interment in Beach Point Cemetery.
