Darrah, Mary Francis
Mary Francis Darrah, 67, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Doctor’s Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Born October 12, 1948 in Chipman, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Katherine (Kay) and Willard Darrah.
Mary is survived by her children; Darin (Lori), Chipman, Michael (Diane), Strathmore, Alberta, Blake (Carmen), Chipman and Brandie (Brent), Chipman; sister, Sarah Jane Nyman (Chris) of Little Britain, Ontario; brother William (Billy) Darrah, Chipman; grandchildren, Alex, Allison, Larissa, Tabatha, Corey, Matt, Lynn, Katrina, Dalton, Brittany, Brigit-Lynn; a special aunt Alice Darrah, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her dogs.
She was predeceased by both of her parents, Kay and Willard Darrah, a sister Donna, a brother Michael and a grandson Michael (Mikie).
Mary loved spending time with friends and caring for her dogs. She loved her family and especially sharing stories with her grandchildren.
A special thank you to Mary’s caregivers for the caring attention and time spent with her.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 7, 2016, from 2 to 4pm and from 7 to 9pm at the Chipman Funeral Home & Crematorium (28 Northrup Drive). Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, April 8, 2016, at the Chipman Life Center at 10:30 am with Pastor Patrick Hafferty officiating.
Donations can be made to the SPCA or buy a friend a flower, fill out an organ donation card, or do a good deed in memory of Mary.
