MOSES, Hazel Edna – age 89, of Yarmouth, passed away at the Meadow’s Home for Special Care in Yarmouth on April 8, 2016. Born in Port Maitland on January 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Edna (Mullen) Churchill. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She worked as a nurse in Massachusetts for many years before moving back to Yarmouth in her 40’s. She is survived by her daughter Ruth (Robert) Hobson, Manchester, N.H; step sons, Gerald (Launa) Moses and Brian (Terri) Moses; grandson, Adam Hobson and step grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Kristin, Cameron; and 5 great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and predeceased by her first husband, Herbert Prime; second husband, Elroy Moses as well as her brothers and sisters. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation was held Tuesday, April 12 from 12:30 until funeral time at 2 P.M. in Hebron Baptist Church, Rev. Wayne Johnson officiated. Interment will be in Darlings Lake Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Hebron Baptist Church (Missions).
