MacLean, Adlessa
Adlessa MacLean, 87, of Cap-Pelé passed away at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Thursday April 14, 2016. Born in Cap-Pelé on May 15th, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Claudia Cormier.
She enjoyed quilting, knitting, long walks and blueberry picking.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters and son: Patricia (Patsy) MacLean of Cap-Pelé, Diane MacLean (late John) of Grand-Barachois, Élise MacLean of Cap-Pelé, Ronald “Speedy” MacLean (Angèle) of Haute-Aboujagane, Margaret Ann Davis (Vaughan) of PEI: four grandchildren: Christopher, Jonathan, Nancy, Brian and two great grandchildren: Miguel and Jessie.
She was predeceased by her husband: Gerald MacLean (1991), adoptive mother: Elise Richard Cormier and by two brothers: Néri and Roméo.
By request, there will be no public visitation.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral & Cremation Centre, 2642 chemin Acadie, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Monday April 18th from 9am till time of departure 10:15am. The funeral mass will be held at Ste. Therese d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, 2648 chemin Acadie, Cap-Pelé on Monday April 18th at 10:30am.
In memory of Adlessa, a contribution to the Oncology unit of the Dr Georges-L Dumont UHC would be appreciated.
