STEPHENSON, LEONA IRENE
It is with sadness that the family of Leona Stephenson announces her passing on Saturday, April 16th, 2016, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ford F. and Marian (Currie) Bailey.
Leona is survived by her daughters Carolyn Stephenson of Saint John, NB, Marian Dzuba (Henry) of Ottawa, ON, and Anne Rusling (Harry) of Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON; a brother Ed Bailey (Norma) of Fredericton, NB; a sister Leytha Foster of Dartmouth, NS; grandchildren Eric Dzuba (Renata), Tom Dzuba (Jennifer), Andrew Dzuba and Neil Dzuba (Amanda); great-grandchildren Lauren, Nicole, Matthew, Adam and Ben, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Thomas Maxwell “Max” Stephenson and a sister Florence Cunningham.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private graveside service for the family will be held at a later date.
