McCAFFERTY, KRYSTAL F.
Krystal F. McCafferty, 30, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, April 15, 2016. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of Francine Haché (Kell) and David McCafferty (Maureen).
Krystal was a graduate of Moncton High School and continued her education at the University of New Brunswick where she obtained a Bachelor of Nursing and was currently working as a Registered Nurse at The Moncton Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, crafting and going to the gym. Krystal loved her job and was a very passionate nurse. She also enjoyed shopping and organizing gatherings with family and friends. Krystal was also very passionate about her cat, “Willow”, who was her closest friend.
In addition to her parents, Francine (Kell) and David (Maureen), Krystal will be sadly missed by her brother, Drew McCafferty; paternal grandmother, Evelyn McCafferty; special aunt “Jack” (Jackie) O’Blenes (Lloyd) and special uncle Frank (Kathy); her special aunts, Sandra Pooley (Doug), Gail Holtby (Paul) and Judy Curtis (Bob); her very special friends, Ashley Crossman and Martha Robertson, as well as many others.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Jim McCafferty and her maternal grandparents, Théophile and Alfreda Haché.
The family would like to thank Dr. Landry and Dr. Shwiri and staff at The Moncton Hospital who worked so hard to save Krystal’s life.
Visitation to be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, (858-1995) Moncton on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. New location for service - A Service to Celebrate Krystal’s Life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 77 Hildegard Dr., on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Lloyd O’Blenes officiating. Reception in the Church Atrium following the service.
