ANNETTE KETTLE
September 12, 1959 – April 7, 2016
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annette (nee Mullins) Kettle announces her passing on April 7, 2016 at the age of 56 years. Annette was the daughter of the late Abner and Mary (nee Lavhey) Mullins. She was also predeceased by her husband Alvin, mother and father-in-law Russell & Annie Kettle, step mother Sarah Mullins, step sister Vera Skinner, step brother Lawrence Sheppard and brother-in-law Amos Collier. She will forever remain in the hearts of her children Tina (Wayne) Osmond Port aux Basques NL, Brian (Geneva) St. Andrew's NL, grandchildren Nicholas, Clark, and Dylan, brother William (Fern) Mullins Dartmouth NS, sisters Mona Collier Codroy NL, Mary (Clarence) Dowding Port aux Basques NL, and Elsie (Arch) Parsons Kingston ON, step brothers and sisters Jim (Janice) Sheppard Reencounter East NL, Roy (Sheila) Sheppard Wolfville NS, Mona Sheppard Reencounter East NL, Claudine (Barry) McDougall Dartmouth NS, and Aaron (Christine) Sheppard Eastern Passage NS, brothers and sisters-in-law Cyril (Marilyn) Kettle Port aux Basques NL, John (Linda) Kettle St. Andrew's NL, Wayne (Diane) Kettle Calgary AB, Garry (Roslyn) Kettle Cape Ray NL, Nancy (Jack) Hexspoor Calgary AB, Derek (Madonna) Kettle Codroy Valley NL, Sylvia (Lionel) Pearce Port aux Basques NL, Suzanne (Bill) White Grand Prairie AB, Terry (Corina) Kettle Port aux Basques NL, Arlene (Tony) Osmond Port aux Basques NL and friend Isaac “Ike” Gillam. Visitation took place on Saturday April 9, 7-9 p.m. and Sunday April 10, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services took place on Monday, April 11 at 2 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Port aux Basques, with Rev. Clayton Billard officiating. In keeping with Annette's wishes cremation will follow with interment at a later date. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Dr. Charles L Health Centre or the Heart and Stoke foundation.
