Carmelita 'Queenie' McNeil

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carmelita 'Queenie' McNeil after a brief illness surrounded by family on April 18, 2016 at the Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Loving wife to Richard of 53 years. Cherished mother to Linda Garland (Scott), John McNeil (Leslie) and Roy McNeil (Joanne). Proud grandmother to Kyle, Lisa, Dillon, Krista, Nathan and Sinead. She will also be remembered by her extended family and friends. Carmelita is the last member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Wall and her 11 brothers and sisters, James, Rita, Ann, Loretta, Ed, Gerald, Doug, Leo, Andrew, Richard and Clifford. Queenie was an active member of the Pickering community and a regular member of the South Pickering Seniors Citizens Club. A proud grandmother, she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and performances.
The family will receive family and friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, 905-428-8488) on Thursday April 21, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church (1148 Finch Ave, Pickering) at 10:30 a.m.
